Pakistan allows cricket team to play World T20 in Indi

LAHORE: The government has allowed Pakistan cricket team to participate in the matches of ICC World T20, scheduled in various venues in India from March 08, said’the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Thursday.The country’s cricket board had sought permission from the government for playing World T20 matches in India.Chairman PCB Shaharyar Khan, who is currently in Dhaka has expressed pleasure on the government permission, saying ‘I am pleased that that government has given its consent for our team to visit India.’He said as a duty of care, PCB had asked ICC to put in place special arrangements for the Pakistan cricket team.He said while in India ‘we will also be expecting visa facilitation and other arrangements for the Pakistani fans wishing to visit India for WC T20.
