DHAKA: Openers Tillakaratne Dilshan and Dinesh Chandimal hit brilliant fifties before Pakistani bowlers struck four quick wickets in the tenth Twenty20 International of the Asia Cup 2016, being played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka .After sent into bat by Pakistan, Sri Lanka openers provided a fine start making together 110 runs ‘ the highest opening stand of the tournament.Later, they lost four wickets for just 15 runs but stand-in captain Chandimal succeeded to take the score to 150 in 20 overs.He remained not out on 75, his career-best score, from 56 balls with ten boundaries and a six while Dilshan, who had been out of form, batted well for the first time in the tournament, hitting 58 off 49 balls with seven fours and a six.Fast bowler Mohammad Irfan claimed two wickets for 16 runs while Wahab Riaz and Shoaib Malik took one wicket each.Pakistan made three changes in the team bringing in debutant Iftikhar Ahmed, left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz and left-arm quick Wahab Riaz in place of Khurram Manzoor, Mohammad Sami and Anwar Ali.Sri Lanka are being led by Chandimal, their third captain in the tournament, after Angelo Mathews’ calf strain forced him to sit out. Mathews was replaced by wicketkeeper-batsman Niroshan Dickwella.”’
