Xi Jinping’s jaunt through Southeast Asia is ‘a reassurance and a warning’ to trading partners as the region is caught between the U.S. and China

On Monday, after Xi’s visit, Beijing warned countries against signing trade deals with the U.S. “at the expense of China’s interest.”
