How to follow Paris 2024 Olympics across the BBC

The BBC will bring you extensive coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympics across TV, iPlayer, Radio 5 Live, BBC Sounds, the BBC Sport website and the BBC Sport app.

BBC One and BBC Two will bring you all the best moments as more than 10,000 athletes compete in 329 gold medal events.

The opening ceremony takes place on Friday, 26 July, and will be shown live on BBC One from 17:45 BST.

The BBC will broadcast a maximum of two live streams of Olympics action at any one time from Saturday, 27 July to the final day of the Games on Sunday, 11 August.

In addition to the main coverage on BBC One or Two, there will be an Olympics Extra channel available on BBC iPlayer, Red Button and online.

To help you catch up, Tonight at the Games on BBC One every evening takes an in-depth look at the day’s best action and biggest talking points.

BBC Radio 5 Live and 5 Sports Extra also bring you live commentary every day from 10:00-22:00 BST, plus a daily podcast on BBC Sounds.

There will be live text commentary from 06:30 BST, plus news, features and short-form video highlights of key moments on the BBC Sport website and app.

You will also be able to find a comprehensive day-to-day guide, a full event schedule and the latest medal table on BBC Sport’s Olympic index.

Broadcaster Discovery+ is the rights holder for Paris 2024 that is showing every moment of the Games in the UK.

Across the Discovery+ app and Eurosport channels in the UK, more than 3,800 hours of live coverage will be aired in total from 07:00 to 22:30 BST each day.

Joining the studio guest line-up for the first time are Dame Laura Kenny, Great Britain’s most decorated female Olympian, and television personality Fred Sirieix, whose daughter Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix will be aiming to win diving gold for Great Britain.

Sir Chris Hoy, Dame Denise Lewis, Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Kate Richardson-Walsh, Beth Tweddle, Dame Katherine Grainger, Mark Foster, Michael Johnson, Nicola Adams and Rebecca Adlington are also part of the BBC Sport team in Paris.
